1st LT. Bob Suchke in front of the connex that housed the weapons "collection" for L Company. His "toys" are out of their box and displayed in the foreground. My thanks go out to Bob for his help in providing descriptions of these weapons, and providing most of the photos in this section from his collection.  RW

The ultimate goal of this section is to gather images and information about all the various weapons faced by members of the 101st Airborne in Northern I Corp. Eventually images from other sections of this web site will be moved here for easier accessing, and a section for American weapons also will be created. The weapons displayed here were either captured by L Company personnel, or members of the 2/17 Cavalry. Many times when weapon cashes were found, ground units from one of the 2/17 Cavalry troops were inserted to assist in destroying or hauling out the captured items. If anyone has photos, additional information or corrections, please drop me a line.
